2 and a half years is a long time for Chelsea. If you look throughout their 11 year history they usually have a much higher turnover. In fact it's not the first time their players have forced out a manager. AVB?

Ancelotti is a noted gentleman and considered thoroughly decent, entirely professional and a revered as football statesman by all who have worked with and for him
He described the whole Chelsea set up, that's the board interference down to player influences as a 'mad house'
Actually strong words when considered in context - I would be staggered if he turned up there again having been sacked for winning the double.
He will be at a club whose heritage and tradition befit him - Beyern Munich or Manchester Utd

Sydney - That's the thing, I think Chelsea and their fans were hoping Jose would bring them at least 5 years of continuity, but now they will be back to hiring and giring. Joke club.

All a bit of a shame, i thought he was doing stellar work at Chelsea this season.
Dont care who replaces him but do expect Chelsea to compete with Real Madrid as to who can appoint and then sack the most managers, although Leeds will take some beating on current form.

Its just been announced: theyve appointed television celebrity and asian newsreader gimlyy patel as Jose successor.

It sounds like Guardiola is going to announce he will finish at Bayern and you'd guess that Man City is his destination next season.
Or maybe Man U will make a try to snaffle him.
As the Van Gaal debacle goes on I don't think it's impossible for Mourinho to end up replacing him with the support of his mate Fergie.
I reckon Chelsea will end up on the merry go round of their old ones going past again .... Hiddinck ... Ancelotti ... or more perfectly Uncle Avram.
Reckon Simeone is too smart to get stuck with the mute Russian and will stay with Atletico Madrid.

I can't see Guardiola going there, he managed Barcelona & Bayern Munich two of the more sensibly run clubs in the world.
